I am offering three workshops in these coming months, two with Caroline Boersma and one with Paula Molinari. Our summer workshop ‘The Protean Voice’ takes on a new direction with the opportunity to reflect on how we can integrate our workshop experiences into our professional and artistic sphere. Each voice tells a unique story; no two stories are the same. And every voice tells many stories. In this workshop, we will tease out your signature sound, and invite those other voices that also wish to be heard, thus developing the range of sound and timbre. Our approach combines exploration of sound through subtle somatic awakening with dynamic, emotional, and imaginative engagement.

In 2025 the Protean Voice workshop takes a step forward towards offering you tools to integrate into your own professional field: be you performer, teacher, therapist, manager…The thrust of the workshop remains the protean nature of the voice: its capacity to reveal to us a multiplicity of sounds, that evoke emotion, that summon up character, that drive us to communicate. A wealth of expression that can colour experience and inform us in so many ways.
