Content: This weekend workshop is an opportunity to explore the width and breadth of your voice and be inspired by the unique timbre that each participant brings to their work. Through a progression of somatic and vocal exercises, we test out the boundaries of our voices: touching less developed areas, consolidating more familiar territory. We reveal the power of our vocal selves without losing the vulnerability that touches the listener. A voice radiates outwards when its source is drawn from the fusion of psyche and soma, breath and emotion. Caroline accompanies and inspires us with the vibratory force of the cello.
The workshop includes:
- Daily warm-up sequences designed to open up body, voice and spirit
- Solo and group vocal research, that extends range and elasticity
- Improvisations, stretching imagination and voice towards textual expression
- Simple group song

La Voce Radiante

Questo workshop è un’opportunità per esplorare l’ampiezza e la profondità della tua voce e per lasciarti ispirare dal timbro unico di ogni partecipante. Attraverso una serie di esercizi somatici e vocali, esploreremo i confini delle nostre voci: toccando aree meno sviluppate, consolidando territori più familiari. Sveliamo il potere del nostro se’ vocale senza perdere quella vulnerabilità che tocca l’ascoltatore. Una voce irradia verso l’esterno nel momento che la sua fonte viene tratta dalla fusione di psiche e soma, respiro ed emozione. Caroline ci accompagna, ispirandoci con la forza vibratoria del suo violoncello.
Il workshop includerà:
• Riscaldamento quotidiano per attivare corpo, voce e spirito
• Ricerca vocale sia individuale che di gruppo, per ampliare gamma e elasticità
• Improvvisazioni vocali, aprire la voce attraverso l’immaginazione e la parola
• Canto semplice di gruppo
